Objective: Participants shall learn the theoretical procedures on both top and bottom (internal) climbing. Participants will gain practical knowledge of top climbing procedures. This is a hands-on class!!! You will be physically working on the crane.
By the end of the training, participants will understand Liebherr procedures and instructions and will be able to:
• Install and remove top climbing frame on an erected crane
• Correct adjustment procedures for climber prior to climbing
• Basics of the hydraulics of the climbing frame
• Balancing procedures
• Safety and Emergency procedures
• Electrical connections and limit switch adjustment
• Operator responsibilities while climbing
• Tie-in installation assembly procedures
• Tie-in strut configurations
• Theoretical bottom (internal) climbing procedures
• Liebherr tower systems
-Target group: Iron workers, service technicians, crane operators, safety and management
-Required PPE: Own harness, hard hat, work gloves, work boots, safety glasses
-Duration: 5 days

| Policies | All scheduled courses are held at the Morrow Training Center in Salem, Oregon USA. Tuition includes course literature / materials and equipment usage only. Tuition does not include such items as transportation, lodging, meals and other personal expenses. Payments for courses to be taken must be remitted in full prior to the scheduled class starting date. Every effort will be made to hold your course reservation, but no registration is guaranteed unless payment is received by Morrow Equipment Company prior to the course date.
